Bangkok trip'07/8: 29th Dec to 3rd Jan -- Fifth day!

last day! sob!! going back at 5! but still.. we should not let it to waste.. we woke up late.. like 9plus? hahah.. then we got dwn for breakfast.. wow.. food was not refilled le but still got food!
grab a copy of the eng news.. and was reading abt the princess! that's life..

after breakfast.. got back to our room and pack..
we must finished our packing by 12! hahaha..
while packing.. we still need to get the pics of the room! i do not know why do i always took the pics of the room on the last day!! it's always so messy! hahaha..

phew.. everything is in order! hahaha.. and we went to check out and book a taxi to pick us up at the hotel.. the luggage was put here and then we went out to explore bkk for the last time.. :(

yeap! so we decided!! to go to jim thompson house!!

The Jim Thompson House is the home of James H.W. Thompson, a self-made American entrepreneur who was the founder of the world renowned Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company. Thompson's achievements during his 25 year stay in the Kingdom of Thailand have won him much fame as the "Legendary American of Thailand".

For his contribution to the development of the Thai Silk industry, Jim Thompson was awarded the Order of the White Elephant, a decoration bestowed upon foreigners for having rendered exceptional service to Thailand. Thompson's success story in Thailand has become one of the most popular postwar legends of Asia.

In 1967, Jim Thompson went on holiday with friends to the Cameron Highlands in Malaysia. There he set out for a walk in the surrounding jungle but never returned. Thus began the Jim Thompson legend.

Since his disappearance in 1967, little has changed in the home that was the 'talk of the town' and the 'city's most celebrated social center'. Even today, the charming Thai style house continues to be a key stop for visitors to Bangkok.

The house consists of a complex of six traditional Thai-style houses, teak structures that were purchased from several owners and brought to the present location from various parts of Thailand. Construction of the Thai house was completed in 1959.

this place got a guide too!! i felt enchanted walking arnd! i tell u.. the toilet is chio de lor.. hahaha.. and got some people mistook me for japanese! hahaha..

this is a cafe that is there.. so chio n posh! hohoho.. we dare not go in.. cos must b very exp!

yeap! the tour took abt 1 hr.. and we decide to go back mbk for our yummylicious dim sum!! hahaha.. and then.. next stop.. chulalongkorn university!!

we first went in to an engineering faculty.. we were like.. gosh.. the facilities were realli bad!! we are a lucky bunch of ppl.

its realli bad.. i mean.. yah.. to the extent that spoilt singaporean will neber dare to come.. but we wander off and came to the faculty of pharmaceutical science! its pretty!! It's like a different world! n school life is much similar to us!




there's shuttle bus.. but we neber got to take the bus! hahaha.. We went into the school premises! we sure look weird.. 'cos they wore school-U! hahaha

we asked some guys whether we can tour the school not.. and he says can! he even tell us there is a lab and a library where we can tour! wow! hahaha. but we just walk around!

this is cool.. hahaha.. got to catch some student life in action!! And this also marks the end of our bkk trip! back to the hotel where the taxi to the airport is waiting for us!

decide to take the hotel in bright daylight.. hahaha.. wow.. so this is how it looks like!!

the cabbie is already here! they are realli a nice lot of ppl! they are realli nice and help u take the luggage and make sure you are feeling good and bid us farewell! gosh! i is truly touched! i love this place darn lot!!! oh well.. good times always will have an end! It is time for me to board the plane back!!




reached singapore at midnight! but.. it's truly fun!!! =)

lost stamina

just went out for the whole day on saturday..
i concussed immediately when i went back..
gosh
i am glad mummy n bro came by today!! 

yesterday was a mania..
early morning woke up to prepare myself for my first time in two weeks "outing"
i am very excited about this "outing" actually..
first time... after so long..
i am able to breathe fresh air.. 
n REALLY go out! 
not coup like a bird in a cage!! 
i felt freedom!!

went to mos for our full run! 

on a side note: i can realli feel the power of car recently! 
i really want to get a car.. 
boi says this is normal.. 
oh well... 

so yest.. there were two cars.. mh n boi's
we parked at the carpark beside MOS!
gosh..
BERI expensive!!
$2 for first 2 hours and one dollar consecutively..
@.@
at the end of the day..
both cars paid 6bucks!

newae.. the run was quite okie..
it's been a long time since i went voices..
oh my..
how different ppl can get over the past weeks.
i must say it's because of all the hard work that each of them had put in.
alot of the peeps had improved tremendously!!

lotsa surprises was in for me!
marketing had done extremely well..
woot!
and there's kimono on tt day too..
and all the different stuff tt is going to happen!!
i must say its sort of what i had expected from the beri beginning..
and it is sort of heart-warming..

nonetheless..
during the full run..
the peeps never fail to stun me.
i know aq is good in MC-ing
but oh mi god..
she is good!
warms up naturally..  =)

i had quite a headache while siting in the centre looking at the full room..
the cue sheet n lyrics were flipped through many many times.
look. think. write. flip. chat. check camera. think. blank.
well.. this is wad i do most of time.
look at cue sheet.
ponder.
think of the youtube clips.
look at performers.
open ears to hear for band.
(only minus one for me to listen too.. i had to listen real hard to differentiate the instrument and plan the shooting)
sometimes i chat with song song or amanda.
sometimes i have t adjust the camera to shoot the full run..
sometimes..
i just went blank.
i dunno wad to shoot.
i think of alot of cool stuff..
but i realise i only got 2 cameras.
*hope to hear from AQ soon about the camera!*

oh well.. was quite tiring
leg numb, buttock numb and freezing body is what i got at the end of the run..
i realise.. my leg is DARN HEAVY!!

hoho..
we were all ready to leave when it is raining heavily..
lucky for the two cars that we are able to ship some ppl back to central..

i got a personal bodyguard after the run!
hahaha..
aka huili.
she decide to take care of me for the rest of the day cos the pai kah wants to go shopping and eat steamboat! plus she so long never see me le!
hoho..

went to bugis in the big rain..
shop there for one hour..
till i REALLY tired! hahahaha..
i walk till tired..
hl did not find the clothes that suits her
'cos i keep telling her
"u going to wedding dinner mea! u is ah jie lea!!"
hahaha..
tt's wad aq plan to call her for her item!
"you need glam stuff!!"

well.. u cant find any there..
no red tee-shirt for boi.
no suspenders for me..

so we decide to left for steamboat.

the trip was abit scary ah!
boi drop me off at the road side beside our fav la mei zi!
it is raining and behind got car..
i gan chiong-ed and forgot how to walk up the curb.
i nearly fall..
but my injured leg supprt my whole body.
amazingly..
it's not hurting..
hoho..
so after which.. i walk very slowly to the place.. cos the floor is wet.
the most dangerous things that i had ever done yesterday was to climb stairs.
4 steps in all..
damn wet.
and i damn scare.
HL says she wanna carry me..
Lucky i walked up safely!! hohoho..

WE had a wonderful dinner!!!
its been a long time!!
gosh..
its as nice as ever.

and we went to eat dessert after tt..
how happening can i be!!

yup.. this end my very tiring and enjoyable day! wheet!! 

on a side note: tt super lucky hl got a fully sponsored trip to San Francisco for her grad trip!

den i will also park in with ahlao2 to san francisco since all i need to do is pay for the air ticks..

i can feel the maturity in my friends.
I still remember the times when we were still in sec school with the cock face,
with the thinking "future is too early for us to consider" mentality..
but now..
look at them!
i would say that many had already path out their future and is working very hard towards it.
their dreams.
their passion.
their strengths.
it is so comforting to see a friend doing so well..

i decide to give myself work..

i will not only lost my ability to walk..

i decide to give up my work...

and then, my ankle was screaming at me with pain..

this is very saddening..

was freaking excited!!
it is a huge fair and i would say it is a good one! ("greenie's" opinion)

took tons of stuff back..
and the deal featured is really good!

if u are looking in terms of absolute amt.. there are some things u can look out for at the fair or not look at at all!!
I would say THERE are alot of worth-ie packages!
too bad..
the absolute value is not there!
but i had a great time touring and enjoying the free information that is being chuck to my brain!

altho ahlao and hl did not get any good deals.. or perhaps what they tot they could get from here!
but i did manage to inform them about the super deals that i found!!
i do hope i can help them plan their itenary for their trip!!
