yeap! i know everybody is waiting for my updates of my trip to hongkong!

well.. after a long day of work on friday..
i am finally home from work!
i is sure tired!
hahaha..
newae.. i and boi decide to plan plan our itenary.
not really planned it out nicely yet.
so had a few discussion tho we had a discussion on our itenary before.
now, it is more of tying the loose ends and making sure of the fees and timing of the transport and attractions.
well..
it was tiring.
and i is really TIRED!
but wad really makes me even SIAN-er is that
BAO told me..
on the day before i am going to HK, HongKong got typhoon and it was number 8 typhoon! gOsh!

cos that would mean most of the attractions that i plan to go may not be available!!
well..
we will see how then.
after bathing,
i end up watching spongebob with bro till 12 plus!
my flight was 6 plus and i had to wake up at 4 like tt.
i is siao one!!!

think sleep at 1 like tt and woke up at 345am!!!
decide to reach the airport earlier
so mama woke up with me and accompany me to the road outside to wait for taxi!
i sure is LUCKY!

so to start off.

but the feeling is different!
well.. i is sure early..
so i went to the check-in counter..
my taxi put me down at the ending of terminal one..
i remember the previous time when i and boi went to the airport.. Jetstar counter was in the front.. since i am so early.. i decide to slowly take my time and drag my luggage to the front..
BUT to my horror!!!
no JETSTAR~!
hahah.. got stress abit and decide to check out the departing board to check the counter..
IT IS AT THE END OF THE TERMINAL!!!

when i reached there.. oh mi god!!
there's tons of ppl.. (it's not even 2 hrs before the boarding time lor..)
i decide to queue up first while waiting for boi..
boi was still far far away..
well..
boi was finally here so we do the necessary checked in.
i was a suku teng wor..
i tot the seats allocation are like the international airplane..
where u choose yr seats when u check in.
but jetstar is u choose yr seats at the point of yr purchase.
and boi choose window seats for both flights! WHEEE...

We are going off!!! WHee...

so yeap.. 'cos me! this sua ku teng! never realli take plane before.. so before boarding, we want to go explore the place inside the airport! u know the shops! tt's why we came to the airport so early! Also, since the plane no food to eat.. hoho.. we decide to eat in airport!
so after check-in, we went to eat.. hoping that poppye(dunno correct spelling not.. u know the eat spinach got big muscle one? hahah..) will open 24hours so that we can have it for breakfast.. but yeap.. it's our wishful thinking.. so we went to a "foodcourt" to eat. boi ordered prawn mee.. NO nice.. i choose not to eat.. feel full.. mayb nuttin interest me! hahaha..
after eating.. we check-in! woohoo!! so exciting.. the first thing saw when i pass the immigration is sakae sushi! damn excited! we went to explore certain places and then drag boi with me to buy my breakfast! (i tell him i hungry le!) i bought the triangle roll (饭团) and we explore still!! GUESS WAD WE SAW? hahah.. there's a leg massager! we still got tons of time and we decide to sit dwn n try try.. It feels weird.. v itchy but i got used to it awhile.. while massaging.. i ate my breakfast! hahaha...

okay.. so after awhile.. i is no interest with the massager le.. our legs not tired ah.. hahaha.. so we went on exploring.. not much shop is open! suddenly i got a feeling! i wanna eat hashbrown from burger king.. so we went to buy it.. but before buying.. we discover smth interesting!!! there's a cactus garden.. and harry's bar is there. boi still says scarly there got performance going on.. (LAME LOR! 5am lea!! haha) this is smth i dunch know abt.. but there's so many things that are in the airport that cater to tourists transiting here. got SWIMMING POOL too.. hahaha.. but we cant find it.. so we walk around the garden.. took some pictures and went for my hashbrown!

tell you.. the weather is hot de lor.. hahaha.. we walk around and decide to hide in the comfort of the fully air-conditioned airport! bought my hashbrown.. and went to a viewing lounge or smth.. where there are 2 lcds big tv showing discovery n national geographic.. so we choose discovery channel.. it's my preferred channel between the two!

for so many times in the holidays.. i very much wanted to catch good show from discovery.. but many a times when i on the tv it is smth boring.. that morning.. THE SHOW IS GOOD! woot! newae.. watch till half way.. announcement saying.. like need to board plane le.. it's closing.. I STRESS.. the time is still early.. so i and boi left for our plane.. the gate is C19. went to the toilet and walked to the gate.. it is freaking far.. and we got abit worried.. it is like last call le.. dun know why.. we are still early.. reached there le.. not many ppl passing tru the security ppl.. most of the ppl is inside the waiting lobby le.. i realised.. the time stated for our flight is 640am. THat means the plane leaves at that time.. it is not the time where boarding is done!
2 things farnie happened at the security place.. 'cos we were rushing.. think boi got abit "gong"! we need to pass a sensor to check whether we got metal stuff with us.. and to step in a box where a security will do a thorough check with a sensor.. the box has a foot direction towards the guard but dearie tot it is okay and face the other way.. HE KNEW he has to face the guard but he decide to do otherwise.. den orbigood.. the guard ask him to turn around so she can check! hahaha.. he peiseh! den went to take our hand carrier.. the guard ask him whether there is water inside the bag not.. den he very confidently tell him dun have.. 'cos we not terrorist right.. smth like tt. hahaha.. den the guard opens his bag to check.. he took out a water bottle full of water!!! BOI SUPER PEISEH! he forgot that he refill the water at the toilet there!! hahahaha.. den we finished it before boarding!!!

the plane is really small la! hahaha.. well.. got discomfort on the plane.. very uncomfortable.. boi was like dunno wad to do.. my eyes hurt and it hurts alot.. it's like straining.. den i feel giddy and stuff!!! BOO!! so upsetting.. and i is still like 2hours away from hk. after falling asleep for like 1hr plus.. i woke up with boi reading.. he never really sleep wor!!! (rare sight! oops!) and we are reaching soon.. not pain anymore.. tho still abit discomfort.. we spend the time talking and getting excited!! hahaha.. the sky is beautiful!!!

yeah!!! finally reached! but it is drizzling!!! hahahaha.. i shld have expected it!! newae.. the plane did not stop at a gate or smth.. it stopped in the middle of the airport.. and we have to take the stairs dwn n take a bus to the airport! it's smth i did not do before!!! hahahahaha.. it's v cool.. like u are an important person and when u get out of the plane there's alot of reporters! hahahaha.. okay.. no reporters! just rain n a almost filled bus! hahaha.. board the packed bus(no seating de!) and went to the hk airport! wheee.....
woot! while doing the immigration stuff! i noticed a v cute girl! v cute! hahaha.. and then the next ting i know.. one of her family members got giddy and nearly fainted! abit stressful.. but it is kept under control.. after we got our luggage! it's time to source for my KRISPY KREME!!! woohooo... but before that we went to get our octopus pass!!! hee.. for the travelling..
IT cost us 300hkd. 50 for deposit and we got 2 express airport transport and unlimited mtr rides!!!

while queuing, i have spotted my long-awaited target!!! KRispy Kreme.. tho i very much wanted to go and bite the yummylicious donuts.. both of us are in the high tide.. so we went to the toilet before we go have donuts. i realise.. the toilet bowl water is dirty de.. like my mama wash floor for the first round.. the clear water turn abit greyish! i abit stressed! hahaha.. but yeap.. after toilet.. i walked at my fastest speed to the store.. mayb becos i hungry also le! hahahaha..

we bought 6 'cos i think the store always have this promotion of buy 5 get 1 free! it's not cheap! i think one box is 60hkd for 5. *remember it's 1 free* 1 donut cost 12hkd which is S$2.40?

boi fell in love with the donut(strawberry shortcake) tt i choose.. i know his feeling! i have the same expression when i eat that donut in USA! gosh.. it is damn good. *but some may not like it as it is too sweet* after having 3 for each of us.. we took the remaining 2 back to our hotel.. one of the plus thing abt the trip is the hotel.. it is facing the sea! and it just built this year! and was highly recommended by one person at tripadvisor.com! wheee.... we got complimentary to jacuzzi and sauna also!!! it cost us S$200 per person! tell u all.. next time book hotel room.. do it the early bird way! we observe the rates and tot it will get cheaper.. in the end we got to pay more.. if not one person only needs to pay S$150 or less! *pouts*

woo.. see quite a few scenary.. not bad.. tell u! their buildings are damn tall! its residence de wor~ got alot.. and all buildings were like 30-40 storeys.. It's realli a different feel. totally different from singapore! tall building.. some very OLD buildings and there's even buildings in the clouds.. the mountains did not stop them! hongkees continues to build!!! at the top of the hill too.. u should see their highway.. i am on one.. and i raise my head.. there's a even higher highway.. WHeee...
reached tsing yi and went to take train to tseun wan! the first MTR ride! hahaha...

so finally reached.. tsuen wan.. smth stupid happened to me when i want to get out of the station. i tap my card! the screen shows farnie stuff.. it shows an arrow an it tells me to top up my card! i stress! i tap again tot is error.. and the next ting they show me please go to the officer! and boi is already out of the station. so i went to find a person to ask where is the service counter! she talks to me in canto first.. i know wad she asks but i felt like an handicapped.. i ask her in chinese.. most of the hongkees can understand chinese abit! and replies it back to u in their broken chinese. well.. got to the counter.. wanted to speak canto 'cos he ask me in canto again! den i dunno why i speak english cham chinese! hahaha.. there's a state in my mind fighting whether to say english or chinese till i sometimes got tongue-tied! but it's a small issue and i got my card done and went to meet boi! hahaha..
well.. the hotel ppl, never tell us where to take the bus. they just tell him how does the bus look like. -.-" so we went explore.. we decide to take bus or take cab.. but lucky us! we plan to cross to take bus tt time, we saw our bus-stop!

so hongkee feeling!!!

we waited for quite awhile and the bus is not in side.. and we are running late! i am suppose to meet bao de! tsk! so we checked the timings and we stress! 230pm i think! hahaha.. so we decide to walk walk around the area! since we got 30min to spare! We saw a dimsum restaurant.. got abit high.. but the price was abit ex.. but it is near us.. after checking it up.. we went to a smth like a walkway where they are many shops! there's a shop call 零食物语 and we went to check it up! boi saw his naruto figurine.. he got high and bought one for himself.. he ask me whether to buy the whole set not.. WOOT! hahaha.. i tell him to decide for himself.. 'cos there's no display and like S$7 for 1 figurine.. he bought 1 to see see nice not first! hee.. walk for awhile.. we went to a convenience store to buy cup noodle n bottled water and went back to the waiting area! the bus came shortly after.. it was a small bus wor~ hee.. it took like 15min like tt to reach the hotel.. and i saw squatters settlement on the way to hotel.. i was excited! u can't see it in singapore k! but smth was puzzling me is tt the area is realli wulu and they are like residing at the middle of the hill.. transport and to move around is difficult. I realli wonder how do they went to buy food and to go work. this sort of things...

well.. reach hotel.. a small one.. but look not bad hotel.. am excited.. was taking photos while waiting for check-in.. my mood is still good at tt time.. but slowly my patience drops.. the concierge is like ignoring us.. making the guests wait and wait.. i is fuming.. they seems like having technical problem or smth and seems unprepared.. bao called me to ask meeting time n such and i am still waiting to be checked in.. my tolerance level goes down to ZERO straight! boi is frustrated but he kept his cool.. so i went to another concierge(or is she one?) well.. wad the heck.. i dunch care.. i straight away told her off asking her when is it my time to check-in? we have been waiting for like 15min or so.. just for a darn check-in. GREAT! she dunno how the system works and ask the guy who is ignoring us to help us! he is dead.. the first thing boi asked for is feedback form. THE next thing i said is to comment on their inefficiency and their unpreparedness.. there's so much thing to say! i tell u. CONCIERGE is the most impt thing that the guest sees when they step in or have a query.. and this is the first impression they leave us!
the wonderful part is that.. the does not seems to have our room ready. woot.. this time boi boiled.. i can see the guy is sweating.. IGNORED US LA.. if u want me to grade the concierge.. i give them straight ZERO straight! tsk!!!

out of 5. i give the hotel 3/5. Zero for the concirege and 3 for the rooms! it is beautiful la.. we overlook the sea.. but we are right under the tsing ma bridge i think.. so to enjoy the great view.. dun look up.. look far!!!

so after calling bao on their hotel phone.. we decide to meet her at tsim tsa cui by taking the shuttle bus! meant to meet her at mongkok to do shopping but in the end cos we plan to see the symphony of lights we had no choice but to meet there. Bao says there are things to buy there but there isnt cheap stuff!! hahaha!! TRUE!!
it started drizzling when we are walking! hahaha.. i got hungry and we buy their 小吃 which u will see everyday on the street. boi bought 鱼蛋，sotong, i bought some 大肠 and bao bought dunno is chicky or duck 肾. and we saw 许留山, the top food that we want to eat! super highly recommended! but it is not cheap wor~ hee.. we is high.. so the three of us went in for our treat before dinner!

bao asked us.. where we planned to go eat dinner... boi actually tot of a restaurant but abit out of the way.. hahha.. so he says da pai dang(restaurant name). the restaurant is got from the guidebook tt we borrow in singapore! it is recommended and got only 1 $ rating for the moeny needed to b spent there. bao looked at it and says that she dunno where is it but we can search for it.. it is actually a 茶餐厅. then after further reading.. the amt of money spent at the cafe is the same as sushi tei. the rating is the same! and we decide to just go anywhere nice for a nice food! so after dessert we left and shop around in tsim sha cui. 'cos nothing in mind so walk walk lor.. we walked to a building which is smth similar to ICON in Singapore. We walked aimlessly.. the stuffs are nice.. but ex.. den we went to a shop.. all bags is at S$20 and clothes at S$4. woohoo.. stayed there for v long. bao bought 2 tops or 3? hahaha.. i bought a half jacket.. boi din find smth he liked.. bao forced us to speak english.. 'cos she says ppl will think we are mainlanders. I rmbed reading this before i left for hk.. but i got comfy with ppl understanding my chinese that i forgot.. hahaha.. we had fun in there! and we shop around awhile more and we went for dinner..

went to a 茶餐厅 and settle dwn for dinner! it's not bad k! bao got porridge, i got hahaha.. mixed pork noodle and boi got his longing yun tun mian.. its not those with chao siew and dry de.. is soup with 鲜虾云吞!!! heee!!!! food is not bad.. but abit ex. bao says.. in hk u buy things is cheap(i think she meant if u know where to go and buy.. hahaha) but not eating.. it is ex.. boi agrees too.. but i still feel that US still tops the most expensive food sold in their country!

but before we went off.. we went to find toilet! in hk.. no toilet de k.. cant find.. lucky we at tsim tsa cui got shopping mall so we went in there to relieve ourselves! it was a great evening with bao tho the time spent abit short! after we got separated.. i and boi went to the symphony of lights.. at 8 there will be a show of symphony of lights.. seriously.. it is nuttin.. BUT the night view is pretty.. and there's also the avenue of stars.. where u know the floor has the celebrities handprints and etc!! u may think why are we going there since i say it is nuttin much? well.. we are lucky.. 'cos it is going to b the 10th year of the return of hk.. every sat there's a fireworks display! so we decide to go look at it!!!!
it is still early.. so we walk around the mall.. and boi found the book that his little sis want! it is so cute.. i gg to borrow from her when she finished it! hee..

woot! shuai ge hand print! while the both of us are busy taking the pic of this.. got a grp of tourists from china i think.. walked passed this and was so excited to know who this celebrity is.. and the lady once knows it is tony.. she says:"不要拍梁朝伟，我们去看别的." GOSH! i and boi is stunned!!! he is a damn good actor k!!!

woot! so the awaited moment is here! hahaha.. the fireworks is spectacular.. its from the boat. smth aqua.. hahaha.. and it's shoot from 2 small sampan and a small boat! i was right infront! no pushing, no crowd and no height problem or difficulties in breathing! i got to see the fireworks shoot up to the vast cloudy sky right in front of me! SPECTACULAR! took a video of the fireworks..

and after the whole show.. we got tired and decide to go back early.. mayb we can try the jacuzzi and sauna! went back to tsuen wan and as usual we are early.. this time round we tour the supermarket and bought my childhood chips which is no longer in singapore! its cottage fries, tomato flavor!!! hee..

took the bus back and guess wad we end up doing..
WE WATCHED DISCOVERY CHANNEL again! it is so interesting.. that both of us dun wan to leave the tube.. so finally at 2.. we turned in.. and awaits for more adventure!!! :)
