back again! :)

free day today.. try to finish my blog as much as possible!
i feel so sinned!
today some nice person say indulge in chocos is ok.. and i go walmart and i bought so many chocolates!!! and i am eating now! damn.. 肥死我！　oh yeah.. no vanhoutten so i bought some raisin choco.. Vanhoutten is still the best!! yeah!!! 肥死我！！

*my first morning!*
When i woke up from the cold.. my joints are all freezed up!! my joints are stiffened!! I am shivering and aching.. However, the morning was so beautiful from my window and i was so relieved that it was 7am cos i no need to sleep in the cold liao.. BUT!!! to my disappointment.. i look at my hp.. it was.. 5am!! i have to wake up 2 hours later lar.. i was so stressed! (i was surprised at the early sunrise!) newae.. Went to sleep for 2 more hours before my orientation starts. And guess wad.. my fatty send me a sms. so sweet of him! he is wishing me to have fun in camp! hahaha.. budden i abit bad.. i scold him idoit.. cos it was morning at States! (budden.. i am not being mean.. i scold everybody idoit right??) *i promise i will buy a good prezzie for him when i am back! lalalala..*

finally, time to get up! change and we girls went to get our breakfast from a nearby deli. It is so freaking cold u know!!! u know!!! And the deli starts late.. and we had to walk abit in the freaking cold weather to wait for the deli to open cos we got free breakfast coupon! roar! hahaha.. went to a supermarket, walk around and den walk back to the deli and get a my breakfast.. it was delicious!

*Orientation*
got to know 2 Sweden people. Angelica and Gabriel. Got to know Kate's bf also.. Andrew! Hahaha.. the people who join us for the orientation are Mandy, Suresh and Bud..
this will be a short post.. hahaha.. wad we did that day.. hmmm.. we have ice breakers and also play frisbee in the Central Park.. Have our lunch at a chinese restaurant.. which dun really taste like chinese food.. and the serving is like wow! we have a short break den we have a game of soccer.. we play till like 8pm.. and guess wad.. it is still very bright! woohoo.. the day is so long and the night is short. We rest and bath and we girls decide to shop for Eileen's shoe at Times Square! we left at around 10pm. Went to have our dinner at a nearby mexican restaurant and took a subway down to Times Square. Tell u.. the subway.. is super confusing!!! SUPER DUPER!
We reach Times square at around 1130pm?? and the streets are still buzzing with people!
We rush to Foot Lockers to get Eileen's shoe.. the price is reasonable.. and those on sales are Cheap! Eileen bought a New Balance shoe for USD 59.90 w/o tax.. at first i tot is cheap.. den i realise its New Balance.. so okie lor..
Bud wanna to have a juice.. guess wad juice? PAPAYA JUICE! peng.. den he brought us to a place call papaya hotdog.. hahaha.. damn farnie.. took a subway back.. was so tired sia~ And we go straight to bed!

*2nd day in NY*
Have to wake up damn early to get our social security done.. dun ask me wad's tt.. i dunno too. but i need to do this to get my pay and stuff! hahaha.. eileen is going off today.. and i wun be seeing her off.. awww.. plus.. when i woke up she is still sleeping! sad! I'm gonna miss them!! Bought my breakfast, got back and we say goodbye to my girl and we r off.. Got a sms from boi.. was quite happy! hahaha.. at least i still can contact ppl even if i am so far away! I began to miss home alot and that sms really helps me alot.
was quite excited that we girls (Lucie, Nat and me) are going to travel around NY today alone! woohoo! We went to get a book in Times square for Lucie (the notebook.. damn.. everybody in camp was talking abt it now.. den i was like.. yeah.. nice movie.. nice ending.. SWEET.. ) Lucie (she is the pretty gal that slept on top of me) was so hardworking.. she wanted to brush up her english so she wanted to read more english bookj! After that.. we walk down the streets and shop awhile and i got myself 2 tops. Its like zara and i got this 2 for like less than 20 for each top! (the shop is H and M).
We walk down Times to Central Park and den walk to Museum lane or street cos we want to visit the Guggehiem museum (dunno spell correct or not). Pack abit for tmr's trip to iowa! den i decide to go to a quiet place to do my blogging and stuff! :) *that's where i do my first post i think, did u all remember?* Their wireless need to pay sia! hahaha.. but its okie.. i charge it to my card.. badly need to blog.. i am like hahaha.. overwhelmed and need to reply email and stuff!

Went back to hostel after i am done and Kate is back from sending Andrew off! They were like super 恩爱la.. before they leave.. they both get a US hp so they can contact each other tho they r in different camps and its free or smth.. or cheap.. smth like tt.. and they got a hp and a us line for just 75 bucks.. Tot of getting one too, that way i no need to pay for toll charges.. hahaha.. was still considering..

got Nat to wake up and we went shopping! the shop closes early sia!~ we ate at a salad bar and den we walk around the streets. After that, Lucie, me and Nat when to the Empire State to see the scenary of NY. It's now the tallest building in the world after the WTC. man.. u should see.. its like so many stars and stars!! 美美的夜景！　but it was freaking cold.. was actually a torture for me.. dun really enjoy.. took alot of blur pics.. cos dunno how to operate camera again.. but i will learn lar.. mayb will get it right finally! Wooh.. before that i went for a virtual ride too! paid 30 bucks! woohoo.. broke! when we are done it was like 1130pm gg 12.. found the subway and head back to hostel.

Guess wad.. we got lost.. it was too complicated.. luckily a guy helped us.. and we got back to hostel safe and sound. Guess wad time we reached? hahaha.. gg to be 1 am.. i am freaking tired.. its not so cold liao.. and i wore shorts to sleep..

hahaha.. it was cold in the morning sia.. i am in shorts remember?? (but luckily.. i "koup" pillows and blanket from other room the toher day.. so i am comfy for 2 nights) we need to leave at 1045 to the airport! but Chris was late.. have biscuit for breakfast only.. hahaha.. i tot i got transport to the airport.. and to my dismay.. hai~ we have to take subway.. with all my lugguage! and guess wad.. i have to take bus too.. roar!
i nearly got bus sick! really! bus sick! hahaha..
At the airport.. i had Wendy's for lunch! damn.. i was so stuffed! but it was nice! u know why.. they cook it on the spot when u order.. so its fresh!
oh yar.. and chris was saying.. 060606 is a vv good day for terrorism.. trying to scare us! hahaha.. and i am taking American Airline! but den.. everything went smoothly! Stop at chicago and den reach moline (iowa).

*060606 - host family*
my host family is our camp's director's mum! she is so nice! and we three girls are living together! yeah! Her house was damn cosy k!! really.. (photos will be uploaded when i am back to singapore.. sorry.. know that my blog will be w/o pics for 2 mths.. but no worries.. will give u all nice stuff and a cool video!) it's like a small cottage! she designed it! (that's my dream house when i was small..) but now.. if i got the house by the beach or seaside.. it will be perfect! perfect for me.. We went to eat dinner and den to Walmart.. damn big lar.. really.. its like our carrefour, ikea and spotlight join together(Nat says tt)i think must times 2 also.. hahaha.. their stuff is cheap and they got everything.

*060606 - lucie's homesick*
well.. was sharing the room with her.. and she cry abit.. she miss her family and stuff.. poor girl.. all the stress building up! she is stress of her english and misses her family. Feel so sad for her.. and i tot of my frens and family.. hahah.. cant have 2 cry babies right.. so i took out the wonderful prezzie that my wonderful frens give.. nvr really help.. but feel better.. got wireless from somewhere and let Lucie use the comp so she will feel better! and three of us.. sit at our host cosy living room and do our stuff.. so comfy!

well.. i and Nat chat abit.. and we tok abt our director's mum! ait sad for her.. cos she has a wonderful house.. but she live alone.. dunno is divorced or widowed.. but wadever case.. just feel sad for her.. hai.. just a small tot.. i wun wan to live alone when i am old.. i will get my old english german sheepdog.. i think i never got the name wrong.. i hope! :)

*07/06/06 -morning*
we made our own breakfast in the wonderful kitchen! Moose came to pick us up and we left for the camp! it was a 20min ride.. tell u.. it is really a countryside.. as in its all farms! its more tough than i tot! meet a few international staffs and also american staffs. Learn First aid and CPR, have an international staff dinner and den we all get to sleep together in the staff house! not bad! nice place! Oh yar.. the staff house is call the Indian Ridge! There's 2 computers and a phone! We have to share sia~ lucky i got my comp with me and there is wireless.. its only this yr that they have these.. arent i lucky? Well, the first night i stress.. (Lucie did it to me again.. her homesickness spread..) was feeling so terrible all of a sudden.. mayb becos of the new environment.. Then the conversation online did not help tho i know you all tried to make me forget stuff or smth and make me laff.. but abit not useful.. hahhaa.. den i decide to go sleep.. sleeping beside musique.. she got a teddy bear! and i was like i wow! den i go to sleep.. hoping all will be fine when i wake up!!

*08/06/06 - morning*
everybody was showering and i can use the net for longer period! (i bath last night le hor.. its too cold to bath two times so in iowa ppl bath once!) Told u that a sleep works wonders or mayb Lucie is the factor! hahaha.. i took a walk round the camp yesterday.. if i am not wrong.. hahaha.. now my diary is all messed up! okie.. so there's a nice lake.. and tall grass.. (dunno how to spell.. paries grass or smth.. remember pride and prejudice the poster.. where the lead actress is touching tall grassess.. yar.. that's the one!) hahaha..and there is beautiful sun set!!! We had a hay ride to go round the camp! sweet! hahaha.. and today we r moving out of our comfy zones.. to the tents! 4 person to one.. in the wild! not so bad lar.. we also had some interactive games and stuff! learn lots of camp songs.. but dun remember any.. hee~ also.. for our meals.. we are vv formal n its a family style.. there's a head and a helper.. and if u are to leave the table.. u have to ask permission.. this is how the camp works.. cool!

*09/06/06*
woohoo.. i did horseback riding today.. was so scare at first.. cos they were so big and tall.. (i am afraid of heights) and i did archery too! The horse i ride on is Danny! There's alot of instructors with me and they are real nice with me! I really know my prob.. i am scare of falling but i am not scare of the pain.. hahaha.. i must overcome! oh yar.. today is Summer's bday! she is so pretty! i tell u~ we got a surprise for her and guess wad! her bf call to wish her happy bday! so sweet right! We have dinner and have a early quiet meeting(to say about wad we did today and stuff like tt and we can do our stuff after tt..) Call Shan today.. cos its her bday in Singapore time! got to know the surprise that the girls plan.. i stress! but seriously.. he not bad lea.. the face la.. but hor.. (after toking to shan today! his character like abit sucky!) And she love the surprise i gave her.. i am so so so glad! went back to my tent.. tell u.. i am freaking scare.. cos it was pitch dark!! super duper freaking dark! my torchlight does'nt help at all.. got lar.. only tt spot tt has light! Nat was beside me.. and we kept talking.. if we both switch off our torch.. we cant see each other at all.. even we are shoulder to shoulder.. Nat(Bubbles - her camp name, all my fren's name are all farnie liao ah.. cos i will start calling their camp name) was so scare to go back alone cos we live in different area.. so i got Stix to walk with us and Stix to walk back with me 'cos we were in the same area! (so sweet of her.. thanks gal!)

*thoughts*
On the way back, did some thinking.. if we pamper city girls were to come here.. i think we may not survive! It is tough for me alr.. but as the days goes on, i think i will survive! really.. i am vv accustomed to the environment alr!

*middle of the night*
it rain so heavily!!! i was so freaking cold!!! i was so cold till i dunno wad to say! hahaha.. my joints are all stiffened!
